THURSDAY, MAY 28th

6.30pm—SWIM PAST THE PROM
The swim will start downstream (north of the bridge) at the slip-way just beside the apartments en route to Hanleys Marina.

7.30pm—THE FIRST NIGHT ON THE PROM
Gala charity concert with the Roscommon Solstice Choir in the marquee at Waterways Ireland Marina, Ballyleague
100 singers under the one roof. All proceeds gor to St. Christopher’s Services, Longford. Tickets available from Daybreak, Ballyleague; O’Brien’s Corner Shop, Lanesborough and St. Christopher’s Services, Longford. Event catering and venue co-ordination by Ventura Promotions.
Admission : €10 Euros

5.30pm—HEARTLANDS
An Exhibition celebrating the Heritage of Bord Na Mona over 60 years at St Mary’s Hall, Lanesborough. Special focus on residential centres set up at Cloontuskert, The Green and Derryhaun. Exhibition will be on display in the hall throughout the weekend FREE EVENT

Registration 8am to 9am in St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Lanesborough. Draw for pegs at 9am. Fishing 11am to 4pm each day. Official Opening of competition by Inland Fisheries Minister of State Joe McHugh TD at 11am. Presentation of prizes Sunday May 31st 6.30pm in the Swan Tavern, Lanesborough.

A flotilla by 30 members of Inland Waterways Association, Athlone Branch. Leaving Watwrways Ireland Marina in Ballyleague, heading North to Hanley’s Marina and returning to a reception in the marquee.

8pm—CEILI ON THE PROM
Welcoming visitors and return guests with a traditional ceili from Rise The Dust Ceili Band in the marquee.
